• Francesc Català-Roca

Francesc Català-Roca (Valls, 1922 – Barcelona, 1998) is one of the outstanding names of contemporary European photography. A renewer of Spanish photography in the fifties, he started from a neo-Realist concept of the image to show in masterly style everyday life at the time with snapshots that have not only become vital historical documents but are also part of our collective memory.
